Eligibility and Contest Rules

 

Please feel free to submit any and all photos! Old, new, live animal photos, harvest photos, scenery whatever you think others would like to see! However, in order to be eligible for the photo contest, the photo must be of an '08 harvest with the hunter (you) in the photo or '08 on the hoof photo or live photo if the animal you photographed doesn't have a hoof of course.

At the end of January '09, Ridgeline staff will choose the top 10 best photos in each category (Big Buck, Big Bull, Field Harvest Photo and On the Hoof / Live animal photo) to be voted on by you on the forum. The top winners voted on by you on the forum, will receive gear from us and our sponsors. There will only be 1 vote allowed per login on the forum. The winners will be notified on the website and forum only, so you must be an active user to know if you've won. No personal emails will be sent to the winners. Winners will have 1 month following the announcement to email us to claim their prize.

Field photo contests can be of big game, fishing, waterfowl etc.

The 10 best photos in each category chosen by Ridgeline staff will be based on lighting, a clean and well posed trophy, scenery setting, story, smile, trophy quality and of course your pose with your trophy.

Live photos need to be of this year and need to be wild, free ranging animals. This is hard to mandate so be sure to be honest. If you are dishonest with photo submissions you will be disqualified from all Ridgeline contests, current and future. This will be judged by quality of photo, lighting, scenery, trophy quality and overall look of the photo.

When submitting photos, please indicate the year and if you would like to participate in the photo contests.
