Gunnison is a great place to stay if you are hunting unit 551. You will have to travel a little every day, but definately the best town to stay in with lots of restraurants, gas, stores etc. Lots of deer, lots of bucks. Lots of country, alpine above timberline, lots of dark timber and lots of sage and aspens as well. Recommend getting there early to aclimate depending on where your coming from. Travis
